These backings have a clutch mechanism hidden inside to grab onto any post and stay secure! And unlike cheap backings made of silicone, the luxlock will not change to an unsightly colour (which is also very unsanitary as it traps bacteria!) Just slide it over your stud post a few times and the mechanism adjusts to your post thickness. You can clean these backings very easily in soap and water or throw them inside a jewelry ultrasonic cleaner.
