Care & Wear Disclaimer

As a general care and wear tip, jewelry should be the last thing you put on before heading out the door and the first thing you take off when you get home. We do not recommend sleeping in your jewelry.

Each of our pieces are handmade with lots of love and time. As fine jewelry is delicate, it is meant to be handled with love and care. Remove your jewelry before doing any strenuous tasks or activities such as sports, working out, cleaning, gardening and others that could apply excessive pressure on the piece or snag the chain. Take care and protect your pieces from any impact against hard or abrasive surfaces. Many stones are delicate and easily abraded. Even though diamonds are one of the hardest substances on Earth, they are not indestructible.

Always put on your jewelry after applying perfume, hairspray, cosmetics and lotions as these products can cause damage and discoloration to gold, stones and pearls. We do not recommend wearing jewelry in water, and highly suggest taking off your jewelry before washing your hands, showering, or entering pools or hot tubs. Soft stones especially opals and pearls do not tolerate water and can be severely compromised when submerged. When not being worn, store your jewelry in a safe and dry place. We recommend storing your pieces separately to avoid scratches.

To clean your pieces, give them a quick bath by using a detergent-free soap and warm water, then dry with a soft, clean cloth. We are happy to offer a complimentary cleaning of your pieces at our store location, simply stop by and we will clean them on the spot.
